Bio

Tanesha Dillard, a writer based in Hill Country, Texas, is passionate about using her words to challenge beliefs, encourage accountability, and foster inclusion. With over 15 years of experience working with non-profit organizations and as a public servant, Tanesha’s writing reflects her commitment to inspire social change.

Drawing on her experiences as a world citizen and an American woman of the Africa Diaspora, Tanesha uses reflective storytelling to create an informed argument to educate, engage, and embolden readers. By sharing her challenges, Tanesha provides insight how social issues impact individuals. She received recognition for promoting inclusion within the U.S. State Department.

Inspired by authors like Maya Angelo and James Baldwin, Tanesha aims to create dynamic non-fiction essays and poems cover the intersectionality of social issues, including faith, race, and gender. She is currently working on essays reflecting on the 2024 presidential election and on mitigating bias in the workplace.

She hopes to motivate individuals to become change agents in their communities, all to support a more equitable world.
